Daily Routine Our doors open at 8:00 am, and close at 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, although extra hours are available, with the exception of some national and local fiestas. Children between the ages of 0 months and 6 years are welcome. We have long and short term places. At Mickey’s Garden we aim to provide a safe, caring and fun atmosphere. As the name suggests the focal point is the garden, our aim is to give the children the healthy outdoor life they need. Our mornings are therefore spent in the garden under caring supervision of our English, Spanish and other bilingual staff. Lesson time is between 11:00 am and 12 mid-day. Depending on the age of your child activities may include balance, co-ordination of body mimicking activities and so on. For the older children there is a more structured lesson time. We have introduced Pre – school nursery books, which are used extensively in schools, nurseries and playgroups throughout the UK. They are packed with activities based on popular nursery rhymes, dot-to-dot, numbers, colour, shape, size, matching and odd one out. The children will bring home their activity books when they are completed. Leaving and collecting children So as to avoid crowding and disruption we ask all parents to leave their child with a member of staff in the reception area. Should you wish to discuss a particular matter with a staff member, please make an appointment in advance. If the person responsible for collecting the child is not able to do so they must notify us and give written authorization to the person assigned to do so.
